The whole Foxhangers team are really excited about our newest boat,  the first of our Platinum Fox Fleet, Darwins Fox. Finished on time and to the highest specifications Darwin’s Fox was taken on her maiden voyage by our operations manager Nigel Card and his family!

Darwin’s Fox was recently awared 5 stars by the Visit Britain tourism board. She has been meticulously planned to combine a traditional narrowboat experience with all the comforts of home and more.

She boasts a King Sized wide bed in the master bedroom and a TV in each cabin (the one in the saloon even has blue tooth connectivity). The stylish kitchen has an extra drinks fridge and a Nespresso coffee machine. The two extra wide en suite shower rooms have underfloor heating.

The décor is contemporary and luxurious yet light and fresh (think boutique hotel) with  granite worktops in both the kitchen and shower rooms, oak fittings throughout and chic fabrics and linens in the living and sleeping areas.

She is due to have her first celebrity guest on board this month, so watch this space to find out who took this beautiful holiday home to the pub!
