How to find us
Around 1-2 hrs travel time from London, Birmingham and the South Coast. Foxhangers is conveniently located in Central Wiltshire just outside the Market town of Devizes in Southern England.
By Car
How to find Lower Foxhangers from Devizes
Lower Foxhangers is situated about 2 miles west of Devizes. Exit Devizes following the signposts for Trowbridge on the A361, a short dual carriageway starts as you leave the town and Lower Foxhangers entrance is approximately 400yds after the dual carriageway has finished. Look out for the brown tourism signs marking our entrance, on your right.
How to find Lower Foxhangers from Chippenham
If you are coming on the A342 from Chippenham, on entering the village of Rowde take the B3101 (next to The Cross Keys pub). Please note there are several houses/farms called Foxhangers along this road, which can cause confusion. This road takes you to the A361 (dual carriageway) Turn right and Lower Foxhangers entrance is approximately 400yds after the dual carriageway has finished.
Arriving from Trowbridge A361 or Melksham A365
After the traffic lights where both these roads merge head on towards Devizes and after approximately 1/2 mile look out for the brown tourism signs pointing left into our entrance.
Once on our drive, follow the road passing the cottage and campsite on the left. Then follow the sign to the Hire Boat reception.
By Bus
National Express Bus is the cheapest way to get to Devizes from London. Once a day there is a 2hr direct coach ride from London Victoria & Heathrow which arrives in Devizes at 9.20pm and returns once a day from Devizes every day at 8.15pm.
However, National Express buses between Chippenham and London is a more regular service but means getting a Faresaver local bus between Chippenham bus station and Devizes which usually run every 2 hours.

By Rail
The nearest mainline train station is in Chippenham, which is about 9miles from Lower Foxhangers. Chippenham is on the London Paddington to Bristol Line. We are about a 25-minute taxi ride from Chippenham Station. Other nearby stations are, Westbury, Trowbridge, and Pewsey.
