“The (walking) pace of life on the canal is very relaxing. If you are looking to get away from the “Rat Race” for a bit, this is the perfect tonic. One very quickly adapts to the slower pace, and this enables you to gorge yourself on the stunning British countryside and to catch many glimpses of wildlife. swans, Herons and Kingfishers are in abundance.”

“The boat was extremely well equipped; the kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were clean and comfortable, the interior was very comfortable and well presented. Full size gas oven was great, although we didn’t cook much, instead choosing to make sandwiches for lunch and heading to the pub for dinner.”
