This was our second visit to Foxhangers and it was even better than the first. No mean feat. Booking on their website was easy. A comprehensive confirmation letter followed shortly after with all the information one could possibly require. A phone call a couple of days before our start date confirming the bedding requirements was a nice touch. Check in at reception was swift and efficient. Boat handover was rapid and we were soon on our way. Arctic Fox was well equipped, we lacked nothing! Everything worked and the fat onboard information folder, including a detailed list of all the canalside hostelries, was excellent.

This was our first canal boat holiday and me, my husband, children and parents all thoroughly enjoyed it. We can’t praise Foxhangers enough. All the staff we dealt with from start to finish were really friendly and helpful, we had all the information and instruction we needed and the boat was extremely well equipped. We would not hesitate to use this company again and cannot recommend them enough.

The service from Foxhangers was superb with a great introduction and instruction by your staff.The boat was well equipped, clean and provided a comfortable relaxing experience for all. The scenery along the canal was breathtaking and there were plenty of superb watering holes along the route for the boat and its occupants. I would definitely recommend this holiday and next time will bring my dog Winston on board as well!

Absolutely fantastic weekend. We spent the weekend on Foxtrot which was very well kitted out & reliable. My brother and I plus two friends (all experienced canal boaters) left Foxhangers on a Friday evening and had a very enjoyable cruise up to the Aqueduct just beyond Bradford-On-Avon (including a night out in Bath via Rail), The boat was fantastic and Foxhangers were brilliant, we couldn't have asked for more. My brother enjoyed a final night fishing near the Devizes Camping and Caravanning Club and the Stout is interesting at The Three Magpies pub. A+++ We'll definitely book again.

My family of 7 took a week cruising the Kennet & Avon Canal. This was my fifth venture into the canals and we were lucky to choose a week of fantastic weather. We were so glad we selected a Foxhangers canal boat: mechanically it performed exceptionally well and there were absolutely no operational problems throughout the whole week; the boat was clean and very well fitted with all the equipment we could need and every item functioned properly. The beds were comfortable; the lounge was a good size and the bathing facilities as good as they can get on a canal boat. I have absolutely no reservations in recommending Foxhangers to the 'beginner' or the experienced. With thanks for making our holiday one to remember for all the right reasons,
