Foxhangers Canal Holidays on the Kennet & Avon Canal

We are a family run business who have been providing holidays on the Kennet & Avon Canal since 1974, our narrowboat holidays have proved to be extremely popular since this operation began in 1997 with just a single boat!

In such a short period of time demand has exceeded expectations and we now stand with twelve boats, we believe that this is due to various reasons, but largely to our competitive prices, location and understanding of our customers requirements.

We offer canal boat holidays in the UK using traditional narrowboats, we offer competitive boat hire prices for both weekly and short break boat holidays and often have special offers on late availability, especially at out of season times.

Your holiday will start at the foot of the magnificent flight of 29 locks near Devizes. Foxhangers Canal Holidays is operated from our small holiday farm/marina along-side the canal. From here you can choose to navigate this famous fight and travel East towards Newbury, or a popular route is to head West where you can easily travel to Bath or even reach Bristol and back in a week!

CUNNING FOX ~ new for May 2007 is a 69ft, 6-9 berth semi traditional style narrowboat available for weekly hire from Saturdays. Similar in layout to narrowboat Arctic Fox, Cunning Fox comprises of 3 fixed double beds, 1 make-up double bed and 1 make-up single bed. Plus 2 toilets and 2 showers.
FENNEC FOX ~ new for late March 2007 is a 50ft, 2-5 berth semi traditional style narrowboat available for weekly hire from Saturdays. Similar in layout to narrowboat Foxtail, Fennec Fox comprises of 1 fixed double bed, 1 make-up double bed and 1 make-up single bed.

This fleet incorporates all the modern equipment YOU demand such as magnificently equipped galley including a full size cooker and microwave, masses of hanging and storage space, a beautifully crafted interior in Maple and Cherry with a Walnut floor throughout.
