Seasonal Positions:
During the hire boat season (March to November) we are often looking to build up a bank of familiar faces that we can provide training to. If you love being on the canal and can spare a few hours on Friday, Monday and occasional Saturday we would like to hear from you. 
Turnaround & Hire Boat Handover Staff
- Part-time
- Applicants must be available most Fridays and Mondays and some Saturdays.
Successful applicants will be delivering comprehensive boat handover, so a confident and articulate manner is a necessity. Attention to detail, good practical skills and ability to communicate and liaise within a small team is also essential for the boat maintenance area of the role. Seasonal Boat Cleaners
- Part-time
- Applicants must be available most Fridays, Mondays & some Saturdays.
Successful applicants will be working with the housekeeping team to ensure all of the boats are cleaned on-time and to a very high standard. Attention to detail, hardworking and ability to work to tight deadlines are essential qualities for all applicants. Download Job Spec
On Call Engineers
Must be able to work flexible hours on a call out rota. You will need a driving license and be able to offer us a day or two of call-out cover and of course be a skilled marine engineer, comfortable in a customer facing environment. Download Job Spec

Technical roles on the boats
We also build bespoke narrowboats and service canal boats. If you have expertise in the following areas, we would like to hear from you. Some positions may be suitable for contractors or self-employed.
